Winifred Annie Butters
« on: Sunday 01 February 09 14:42 GMT (UK) »
I have been unable to find my Grandmother in the 1901 census-help please! She was born in Carlton Street, Kentish Town on the 18th April 1881, and was married in Mitcham, Surrey on the 20th May 1908. She worked as a book keeper for Colebrooks the butchers and fishmongers at her marriage presumably in Mitcham. Has anyone heard of this shop? Thanks.

Hi

Is this lady a possible:

Found on 1901censusonline.com
Winifred A Butler age 19 Grocers Clerk born St Pancras London living Hornsey Middlesex

Kentish Town was a sub district of (St) Pancras and the FreeBMD listing for Winifred Annie Butters Jun 1881 gives the registration district as Pancras.
VALLER - Hampshire/Surrey; MONK - Surrey
