Now onto Charles Clamp Oliver

he only seems to appear on 1881 census as Charles Oliver -on other census he is Charles Clamp

it seems he was born shortly before his parents married - and so his birth was reg as Charles Clamp

and he came from leicestershire -not Nottingham!!!

in 1901 he is living in Nottingham with his sister and her husband

1901
1 baden terrace , Meadows Nottingham
David Curzon head M 26 Coal miner Derby
Letitia Curon wife 22 Ibstock leics
catherine daughter 2 Nottingham
Charles son 1 Nottingham
CHARLES CLAMP brother in law U 24 Coal miner ibstock Leics
RG13 2167 169 37

marriage freeBMD
Jun qtr 1897
basford
david Curzon
Letitia Oliver

then 1891
7 London terrace Hawthorne St Wilford Nottingham
William Oliver head M 35 Coal Miner Coalville Leics
Eliza wife 34 Ibstock leics
CHARLES CLAMP son 14 coal miner Ibstock
Letitia Oliver daughter 12 Ibstock
George Oliver son 12 Ibstock
William Oliver son 5 Istock
John J Oliver son 2 Eilford Nottingham
RG12 2686 130 23

1881
Ellison Row Ibstock
William Olliver head M 25 Coal miner Coalville Leics
Elia Oliver wife 24 Ibstock
CHARLES OLIVER son 4 Ibstock
Letitia Oliver daughter 2
RG11 3135 91 66

Birth freeBMD
Charles Clamp
Dec qtr 1876
M Bosworth
7a 714

marriage freeBMD
Dec qtr 1876
m bosworth
William Oliver
Eliza Clamp

so with charles birth and William and Eliza's marriage being reg same year and same qtr it seems charles arrived shortly before they married

?????

Thanks for the info..

Is there anyway of finding anything else out about William OLIVER (his father not his brother) or going back to his parents.  Not to worry if not as I can possible pursue this at a later date as I have a lot to be getting on with in regard to family history.

Many Thanks Again
