You must have something already?
A marriage or later child?
What is the basis for your enquiry?

There are at least 6 plain Mary King 1855 +/- 1 b in Lincs. (freebmd, excluding second names)).
What is going to make any of the the 'right' one?

Then I'd get the marriage cert to give a father's name, date and location. , plus witnesses.

Names without geography and date are near-useless.

1861
RG9/2329 104 11 & 12
Holbeach, Lincolnshire
Washway

David Stevens, head, 60, Ag labourer, b. ** Ramsey
Ann, wife, 60, b. Lincs Horbling?
Tom, son, 18, Ag labourer, b. Holbeach
Susan, dau, 14, scholar, b. do.
Mary Ann King, granddau, 6, scholar, b. do.

The only King/Stevens marriage I can see in Holbeach is:
Jun 1854 Holbeach 7a 583
William King - Mary Ann Stevens

Back in 1841, David and Ann have a (daughter, probably) Mary Ann age 10.
