Hello,
This is not really a reply to your last post, but I came across an old post from you dated 2006. You were looking to decipher the name "Meshach Walters". This was my grandfather's name. His wife was Hannah.
My mother's name was Sarah Ellen. She married Francis (Frank) Potter and we lived in Darlington Street, Kings Hill, Wednesbury.
She had a friend named Clara and I think that the surname was Wilkes. I also recall a friend I had (I think he was a bit older than me) called Malcolm Wilkes.
Is this a small world, or am I mistaken?
Best wishes
