Liverpool Church Parish Register Look-up

Inscription found in handed-down family bible:-
John hughes married Jane Owens 18th August 1854 St. Davids Church Brownlow hill Liverpool.
Can anyone confirm event, any additional information available.
John's occupation, address, fathers name and occupation.
Jane's fathers name and occupation.

Any help much appreciated.

The marriage was registered in Liverpool, September quarter of 1854 and the reference number is 8b 181.

Can be found on the freebmd site.

An extra snippet for you, St David's was Cof E, licensed to conduct services in Welsh. The foundation stone was laid 15 Sep 1826 and the church consecrated 31 July 1827, closed 1910. I have at least two relatives married there, both Evans (sisters from Trefriw) one in 1850, one in 1857.  Liverpool Record Office holds the registers. All the best, Flower
