And I think you're best sending for that birth certificate

There is this brilliant website about Headley www.johnowensmith.co.uk/headley/
There's lots of information to read through but there are lots of Kemp references.
Your Kemp family are in the 1891 and 1901 census pages. Colin Kemp, Carpenter, is listed in the Directories from 1889-1935. Most of the children can be found in the Baptisms section and under Monumental Inscriptions the name of Frank Kemp can be found on the WW1 memorial and there is a William Kemp who died 1956 aged 74 and married an Edith Mary. It's well worth a browse
