Thanks for that Shelly,

I believe Evelyn Leather  married a Julius Volkland and Violet a Alfred E Treat.

If Iam not imposing too much is there any information on them.

Kaycee

You can check the Social Security Death Index for free at rootsweb.com.  It mainly covers people who died from the 1960's through the present.

It seems that one of the daughters may still be living in Auburn, as some fairly recent addresses from public records show up at Ancestry.com.  If you'd like them, I can send them via private message.  I also found obituaries for Henry and both Jameses, if you'd like that.  I found an obit for Violet, too, who passed away 23 Feb. 1969.  I also found a marriage announcement & picture of Henry's daughter.

Hello, I am a descendent of James Leather.  My cousin Evelyn still lives in Auburn and I still have contact with her.

James Leather was my grandmother's brother.

Are you related to James Leather ?

Hello Wesley John,

don't know if you received my personal message or not.

My mother Elsie used to correspond with Evelyn when they were both younger. My mother has a number of photographs of your family, I have attached a few you may be interested in.
One has Henry written on the back, One Henry and Carm and one Marlene.

Kaycee
