looking for information about George Ellerby born about 1851,Edinburgh he married Hannah Oxley who was born about 1852 in Gretna green, they moved to skelton Yorkshire, can any one help?

Do you have a copy of their marriage cert showing his parents names and fathers occupation

the only information I have is from census, so it only lists the name DOB and place of birth which is the information that I posted, as it is very little I have not managed to get any further with them.
I cant find birth,marriage for either of them,

From the 1881, it looks as if Hannah might have been married to someone called Teesdale before she married George. Have you chased this up?

If you check the 1881 census you will find stepchildren called Teasdale which indicates Hannah was previously married

He and Hannah only married in 1880 but the 1881 shows 2 Ellerby children born pre-1880
