We went last year in june and booked a b&b at the last minute which was lovely there seemed to be plenty of choice too i think it depends on the racing

You might know his face as he drinks in there quite often and is friendly with some of the locals.  I have not been for a while which is unusual although might have a wee drink there at the weekend though its still my favorite pub.

Thanks for the list of places. Have them on the radar BUT a lot will depend on things like mobility. For sure we'll not see evrything in the 2 days - just means we'll have to go back lol

I will make sure we have dry and wet weather options whatever we do.
