Thanks to Allan and Templar for the last few posts.I have been looking at this family a bit more closely once again.Noting that Martha Wrigley and James Henry Wellington married in Gibraltar,(thanks to Hume for this information in a previous post) I wondered why Martha would be there in the first place? I can't seem to find an entry for either James or Martha in the 1871 census. If they were indeed both overseas at this time how do I go about finding a census entry?I would be most grateful for some advise regarding these enquiries.I can recall finding information about the living arrangements of wives and families of Royal Army Military Corps personnel regarding postings in Cork, Ireland some time ago which helped paint a picture of community lifestyle. If anyone knows of additional information regarding the living situations in Gibraltar of spouses and families, I'd be interested to learn more.I am also trying to find additional details about another sibling in the family, Frederick Charles Wellington. The last entry I can find for him census wise, states he is 18 years old and a member of the Royal Army Medical Medical Corps in Aldershot. This is the 1901 census.I have tried to find soldier records, but have no luck to date, so I virtually have no information about his whereabouts from 1901 to his death in 1973 in London, assuming I have the right Frederick Charles Wellington. Once again any feedback or assistance would be appreciated.Thanks. Erika.
