Just to throw something else in.

I have a FLYNG in my tree through my BARRINGTON line.

She is Elizabeth FLYNG (1823-1891) married to William George BARRINGTON. She later remarried and became a LORYMORE and had a daughter called Elizabeth Flyng LORYMORE (1860-1891).

I have Elizabeth Flyng LORYMORE's death certificate and her half-brother Henry BARRINGTON is given as the informant/"in attendance". If it helps ring any bells, the place of death is 100 Pennywell Road in the sub-district of St Philip and Jacob (Barton Regis, Bristol).

So sorry I've not seen this until now or your response to my "Bristol FLYNGs" thread from 2008 (link included below). I'm only just getting back into all this and have a lot of catching up to do!

If I come across anything else of relevance when refreshing my memory, I'll let you know. :)

Hi Vicky, I havent come across and Elizabeth Flyng in my research.  My GG Catherine Flyng was born in 1826 in Bristol, mother Hannah father Michael and pretty sure, brother Timothy much older.  Timothy seemed to have a few children, Charlotte, Hannah and Carson, the latter name seems to have been carried on. Do you know who Eliz 1823 parents were.  Timothy was married in the area your Eliz Lorymore died so maybe they were all part of the one family, its just proving it thats hard.
Cheers Diane Reeves

Sorry, I don't know who Elizabeth Snr's parents were nor any of her siblings, if she had any. :(

So confusing having lots of potential connections but no way of connecting them!
