There are father and son Allen Blackmore SMYTH on the Tas records

Birth
SMYTH Allen Blackmore
Father Allen Blackmore  Mother CAMPBELL-SHAW Mary
26 Jun 1867
At Ringarooma  Reg# 1476/1867  RGD 33

There is no marriage for the parents on the Tas Indexes only thirteen births.  However the Tas Archives, Tasmanian Families links database shows them marrying in 1864.
http://portal.archives.tas.gov.au/menu.aspx?detail=1&type=P&id=350140
and fifteen births.

How do i find out Mary Campbell shaws parentage?

Mary does not appear in the Tasmanian birth records or marriage records.  Perhaps they married elsewhere and emigrated.   The Tasmanian Archives website which states she was born 1843.  The double barrel name could mean she was registered under either Shaw or Campbell.  I have searched on familysearch.org but nothing.  There is a submitted record [I always treat any family trees or submitted records online with a degree of caution] on family search for the birth of an Allen SMYTH with parents George and Ann BLACKMORE but if I remember it is in a different year  to the info you placed on one of your other posts on rootschat.

I note you live in Tasmania, perhaps you could visit the Tasmanian Archives for more help.

Another chatter may have a suggestion or two how to help you.

Good luck with your search.

Cheers

Hello Minnie

If you can visit the Tas archives, you may be able to find some shipping records for the arrival in Tasmania of Mary Campbell-Shaw. They don't seem to have shipping details online (apart from for convicts). You would also be able to look at microfilm of the pre 1900 births and marriages listed by Cando, which may contain a little extra information. If you cannot get to the archives they do have a research service. Check their webite
