Briscoe

Using the addresses given by Shanew and Aghadowey ,I checked  the work I did on the Irish Times newspaper 1859-1901 and give the following  which I hope is useful
At No.28 Jervis Street:
Henry Briscoe's name is in the Births Section on 17/11/1864
Henry Briscoe's name is in the Deaths Section (Page 8) on 25/1/1872

At No.9 Summerhill:
On P.2 of the edition 3/2/1882 there is an advert. mentioning Joseph J.Briscoe-carriage builder

I can find no other references to them at the other addresses.

My great-great grandfather was Michael Briscoe, born in Dublin, 1861.
He can be found on the 1901 census living in Co Down, occupation is Coachbuilder.
He appears to have been living with his wife & children as a boarder with a family called Marshall who were Church of Ireland.
Unfortunately, I have not been able to locate him on the 1911 census as yet so not sure if this means he emigrated.
