Good - at least that's one!  ;D

The only Morgan Charles whose birth date matches is living in Bristol, but is "Charles Morgan Charles."
Ambrose; Llandilofawr, Pennsylvania.
Grindley; Llandilofawr, Ohio, Louisiana, Washington DC.
Rees(e); Pennsylvania.
Lewis, Llandilofawr.

It is worth remembering that some people will have been away on Census night.

I have spent ages trying to find my late Uncle, William Havelock Wilson (1894-1974) who isn't at home with the rest of the family at 93 St Helens Road, Swansea on Census night. I've wasted yet more credits looking at William H. Wilson's, - who turn out to be the wrong ones...:-(

I've even looked for him in Manchester, (where his father was supposed to have come from) on the wild hope that he might lead me to some Manchester relatives...but no joy:-(((

Perhaps he's with the PHILLIPS relatives, - in Outer Space, - or where ever!!

Romilly if you find him with my missing Percy Price or Samson Roberts give me a nudge.  Think they had a conspiracy going on between them.   ;D

I'm having problems finding my grandparents and great-grandparents in LLanwonno parish on the 1911 census. I know they lived in the same street, so tried the place search and still no luck. The street doesn't appear.

Tried a few of the surrounding streets and they seem to be missing as well. It looks like a whole block of streets in Llanwonno are not traceable using the search function. I've tried wildcard searches and everything.

Just a polite reminder that this isn't a look-up thread ( on the grounds that we can't do them for copyright reasons).

Can I suggest if you're having difficulties with a particular family and have bought credits you start a new thread with lots of clues and then people might be able to point you in the right direction, as long as you're paying for the images/ transcriptions yourself.

Many thanks!

(And I've lost one family myself: not that I'm looking for sympathy or anything!!)

Tell me about it - they couldn't trasncribe John Street properly, and combined with the family being transcribed as Edward (should have been Elward), it has proved slightly frustrating!

I'm mystified by the 'place' search facility on the 1911 ::) ::)

Even streets which I know are there, (because I've found relatives living in them in 1911), come up as 'nothing found'. I'm unable to find Brynforgan Terrace or St Helens Road; which is somewhat perplexing...to say the least!!
