Every time there's another date put out for the transcription of the census for 1911 glamaorgan one senses the  all pervasive smell of what comes out of the back of cows.

Hi Sylvia,

Were your relatives in Central Cardiff?

I cannot find my grandfather,  my dad or his siblings in the 1911. :'(

I read somewhere that were a few problems with Central Cardiff records being missing. I have really been looking forward to seeing my dads name and learning what his siblings first names were :'(   They were all called by their second names for some reason, so can't find their births either.

Hello Ambers

Yes  mine were from Central Cardiff areas Newport Road and Canton I could not believe my luck. The only problem now is how many should I try to find.
I am used to using findmy past which I pay once a year so now I will have to think first if I really need to look.

Sorry you coud not find your family

Sylvia
