I know what you mean about being a long time, I am always going from one family member side of my tree to another with either me contacting people or vice versa.... it certainly can get very interesting at times.
Is there any connection with the James Whitehouse and Mary Harper, as it's not one I have come across yet? It would be interesting to one day tie lots of the Whitehouse families together... as it's such a common surname for the area. Lol.
