Still nothing on the Andrew Finlayson front unfortunately.
I have been checking blog sites but nothing so far.

It is very frustrating - you think there would be someone researching our guy - Andrew Hunter Finlayson was the 6th son of Robert after all! 
Anyway, if I find out anything I will let you know.  Cheers, Kay
