This theme has already been discussed on other topics about the 1911 census and I see no point in repeating it, yet again.
We live in a commercial society where we have to pay for services rendered.
We are lucky that we have a hobby where so many volunteers freely give their time and efforts, so that we can get much information we need for free.
Unfortunately this can also lead to a false sense of what is acceptable, when we consider the real costs of such a technical undertaking (all of which have been mentioned in other topics) which has to be paid for, somehow.
Either we accept that a normal firm will consider it as a normal business proposition, and we pay for their efforts- in cash - or we wait till 100's of volunteers have added it to freeCEN - and we wait for so long ....
The facts and feelings being expressed here have been repeated enough, I am locking this topic.
