Hi Martin, thanks for your generous offer.

I have a John Fletcher born about 1796/7 in Birmingham who was in the 79th Reg. He was at the battle of Quatra Bras and also Waterloo. I know he received the Waterloo medal.

Yes Private John Fletcher, Number 2 Company, 79th Foot (Cameron Highlanders). Not wounded.
Born Birmingham, enlisted 1811, discharged 1836 aged 40 (so would have been about 19 at Waterloo) from the 19th (1st York North Riding) Foot with whom he is also listed as serving.

Do you have any further info I can add to my database?
