I'm new on this forum and apparently don't have rights to PM to you. Anyway, if Arthur was your great-grandfather then one of his kids must have been your grandparent. As far as I can tell, my grandfather Thomas (who came with Arthur as a boy some years before the rest of the family) was the only one who didn't go to Greenwich and work in the mill. He ended up with the railroad in Schenectady. My 88-year old uncle William is still there and remembers Arthur and probably your grandparent as well. I've also heard from a John Martin in Maine who's mother was Sarah the oldest daughter of William, the son of the patriarch who came in '06 with the rest of the dozen kids. I can read your PM's but can't figure out how to respond other than to the thread.
