Remember, if you have other friends or rellies that are willing to subscribe to ancestralscotland, you can use their code too.

I emailed SP a while back regarding this and they replied saying it was OK.

Thanks very much for this tip. I had run out of time with 12 credits left and didn't want to buy 6 pounds worth just to use them up. I'm now can get four more records.....!!!! This great.  :) Love this hobby.  ...and hopefully someday will make it over to see my ancestors homeland...

Just sign up with a new email address it's a bit time consuming to keep creating them but it works every time. I've probably created about a hundred.

You've found the loophole. I bet they'll get onto that before long though. You'd better keep a log of those email addresses. They can and will block them through The IP details or what ever thingy they can use. I think its the IP. ANyway- well done, spread the word.
