Well I looked at the postcard (one of J S Simnett's) I've got - there's another photo I've got with the hall's staff - and it's a different house; a regency villa with a flat-roofed tetrastyle doric portico, built in front of another section of building which might well have been older, and a large wing on one side, possibly older. Since my pa has told me that the hall was demolished during the war to make room for the aerodrome, I can only imagine the family moved to another house, and called that Kingstanding Hall. I wonder if Lichfield Record Office could help here - unfortunately I'm living in Yorkshire at present, and have no car, so trips there are very difficult.
