Hi, there's always someone willing to do grave look-ups.   :)

Once you know what you want though, it might be just as well to post a lookup request on the county board, and we'll see it there, or someone else will, so you don't need to rush before Monday.

Lucky you to be able to see what you want on the 1911 census - still waiting for Durham, North Yorks & Northumberland.................(which is why we have time to do grave look-ups!)

Thanks, I will do this.

Yes, husband's Questeds never ventured far north, great to see his father with his family just before he ran away to sea!

But my own lot are in NRY and Wales, so I am making do with thrills over husband's lot.  But I am very eager to sort out my own father's Saltburn lot; some of the family stories about who died when in his generation may be cleared up in the 1911.

I just had a thought. ( it takes a while but I do get them occasionally)

If you are in the Middlesbrough area, I have no record of Thomas or Amelia ( Cissie) Smith's burial. I've just contact Middlesbrough cemetries and they are going to get back to me. If I am in time, might you add them to your list please? The woman in the cemetries office reckoned most likely either Linthorpe or North Ormesby.  :D
