Does anybody have access to the parish records of Ault Hucknall please? I would like this baptism checking please

Samuel Shepard, 24 Jan 1749, parents Samuel and Eliza

Its a members submitted record on the IGI so I would like to know if it is correct. Also any siblings to Samuel if possible

Hi Cezza

According to the Hugh Wallis Batch number site, Ault Hucknall baptisms are covered from 1738 - 1810 & 1813 - 1856 on Batch no. C048271.  I have searched via the batch numbers and found no Shepards .

I have the transciption for Ault Hucknall and these are the SHEPERD and variants baptisms.
Surname/ Childs name/ Parents/ date of bap/date of birth.

SHEPHERD William   John & Mary  of Rowthorne   12 Dec 1777   
SHEPPARD John   William & Harriet   Doe Lane   Joiner   31 Mar 1884   
SHEPPARD Winifred   John & Mary Elizabeth 46 Doe Lea Miner   8 Aug 1906      25 Jul 1906

There is also a marriage for Sam SHEPARD of Hucknall to Eliz: ELLIS 27th Nov 1749.

Don't forget that the year ran from March to March as before 1752 they were using the Julian calendar so the birth would actually be in 1750 if you move the start of the year to Jan.
