Dear Cloke,

Extracts from the register of St Mary's Catholic Church, Brownedge:

5th March 1795 Thomas son of Edward and Jane Lancaster
Godparents: Henry Worthington Chris. Briarley

24th September 1797 Mary daughter of Edward and Jane Lancaster
Godparents: James Unsworth Elizabeth Lancaster

9th March 1800 Matthew son of Edward and Jane Lancaster
Godparents: Matthew & Elizabeth Talbot

12th March 1803 Elizabeth daughter of Edward and Jane Lancaster
Godparents: Hugh Margieson Ellen Wilson

15th November 1804 John son of Edward and Jane Lancaster
Godparents: Thomas Werden Betty Talbot

13th April 1807 Elizabeth daughter of Edward and Jane Lancaster
Godparents: James Chandley Mary Worthington

21st May 1812 Jane daughter of Edward and Jane Lancaster
Godparents: Thomas & Jane Naylor

These from a printed extract from the original register held at the Society of Genealogists in London. The dates are birth dates.

I'm afraid that I didn't have time to look for any further marriages, but I hope that the above are of use to you.

Regards,

I cannot thank you enough for this information . Its the best I have had in a long time. This helps with some of the births of this family  . I thought just by the way the family history was going they would have been in St Mary,s  .
Many thanks Cloke  ;D ;D

Dear Cloke,

I was working up in North London again today so I managed another quick look at the St Mary's register and I found several more Lancaster references. I don't know how many of them relate to your Lancasters and the list is too long to post here, so if you could send me a PM with your email address then I can send you the file as an attachment.
