Hi Gerry

My husband's 2xgreat-grandparents are on one of the stones you listed. I would love to have a photo of the stone. They are John Kelly d1864 and Mary Kelly d1877. Maryann McElhinney d1890 is their daughter (my husband's great-grandaunt).

Two of my husband's other 2xgreat-grandparents are also buried there - Edward Quigley d1896 and his wife Catherine Quigley d1889. Are they by any chance the Quigleys mentioned in your list?

I would be very grateful for any help you can give me.

Sincerely

Maureen

Hi Gerry,
I read your message with great interest, I am currently searching for the Cassidy side of my family who were all based in Hutchesontown or thereabouts in Glasgow 1n the later 1800's and beyond, I think many may have been buried there as I have heard many relatives both Cassidy and non-Cassidy mentioning family in that Cemetery. I'm overseas and cannot unfortunately visit often.So I wondered as per your offer for all the info you have on Cassidy's there. I would appreciate your help very much.

Gerry,

I'm excited to have found this thread! I'm hopeful that you'll be able to help w/ the following surnames:

Docherty;
Dougherty;
Sweeney;
Quin;
McGovern
McGrory
Colgan;
Googan; and
Rowan.

I found a burial record for a Barbary Sweeny, who was buried Jan. 1855 (age 60).

I can't seem to find the link to PM you.

Thanks in advance,

Bill
