Hi
If you go to the National Archives website do an advanced search on all words - James Pardoe Ombersley – there is the following reference to about 100 documents at Worcester Record Office
Ref 705:550/BA4600/1029/ii 1818-1892
I had a quick look at the records in 2009, it could have been for someone on Rootschat. This is what I was able to work out:-
A James Pardoe farmer of Comhampton was married to Elizabeth. He died in June 1826 probate 1827 and had the following children :-
Edward a bachelor who died in 1840, James who died 2 May 1863 (Probate 1864), William who died in 1860 and Charles who outlived them all and lived at Coney Green, Ribbesford.
James and Elizabeth’s daughters were Letitia and Anna Maria Pardoe, Emma the wife of John Bly and Margaret Palmer Knight nee Pardoe, who had died by the time her mother Elizabeth had made her will in 1862.
It seems that Elizabeth, Edward, James, William all lived on the farm(s) at Comhampton named in the elder James will as Phors (?) aka Poors Farm and Crumps Farm.
Hope this gives you some leads.
Jack
