Any death 1837-1850 should be on the GRO Index
Possibly also worth looking at Staffordshire BMD

Wesleyan churches/chapels are NOT Quaker.

Have you got him on the censuses? What age does he give then?

(Weslyan Church usually refers to one of Methodist denomination - named after the famous Wesley brothers)
Edmonds/Edmunds - mainly Sussex
DeBoo - London
Green - Suffolk
Parker - Sussex
Kemp - Essex
Farrington - Essex
Boniface - West Sussex

EVEN if you have no age for him, you could tell us when his kids were born /baptised.
That would give a guideline age for him, by inference at least.
