My 4th great grandfather is "Miguel" O'Carrol as he was known in Spain and Chile, he was a cousin of Major General Sir William Parker Carrol and they were together fighting in the Napoleonic Wars.

:) Thank you so much AnnClare!  New information is always great, but with a source it is even better.  There is much known about the Carrolls.  Unfortunately there are also many holes to fill and brickwalls to climb.  Thanks for easing my journey!    ...J. C. Dean
