Hello Kay,
The school was at no.3 Ringford Road Wandsworth 1901 census 13/482/17
It seems it was a private school. The census records Lizzie Chapman Superintendent of Childrens Home on own account at home.
In the right hand margin it says rescued children. All sounds very sad.
If you do not have access to the 1901 census let me know who you are looking for and I will check it for you.

Hi Jennifer,
Thank you so much of offer but have the 1901 census print out,the aim is to try and find admission records at LMA but not sure it was ever named to make easier searching, but may have been under Waifs&Strays.
Regds.
