Am I being hopeful - Again!

This time I am posting a colour scan which I have cut down to 1000 pixels wide but not touched otherwise! I hope it is useable.Thanks.

There's not a lot to work with on this one Mem B,

The boy beside the mother, his face just isn't there, and the little boy with the head turned in the front, he/she looks like a cutie with nothing but curls, same as brother? to the left?.
Anyway, did this with it.

Played with curves. I've not done any repair work.   I don't think there's very much in there to work with

The sepia is the best I could do from either version....

So......
Got the paintbox  out and splashed on some warpaint...
This is not how it looked, but how it might have looked....
