George Yeoman is my 4x Great grandfather.

He married Hanah Shipman and they had William, James, Sarah, Joseph and Thomas

Laws, you are asking for an 1851 census lookup and you give the reference numbers. Is it a transcription of the 1851 census entry for George that you require? (I am just checking because if someone has the numbers they usually also have the details of the entry.  ;))

I posted this so long ago, I had forgotten all about it.

Ruskie,  I have him on the 1841 census with the HO reference above. I'm looking for him on the 1851 census. I've corrected the original post to avoid confusion. Thanks for spotting it.

sbrewster,  I'm descended from William.

Wow I didn't notice that this was such an old post - sbrewster's reply brought it to the top of the pile again. I will see if I can find him in 1851, though I suspect that others may have looked in the past and been unable to locate him ....

No sorry ridge I can't see George or Hanah, even using really broad searches. It's possible that they both died between censuses. I could only find Thomas as a servant and James married to Charlotte with nephew Joseph I Burge (so looks like sister Sarah married a Burge ...)

Hi Ruskie,

Thanks for looking. I thought maybe they had died. There are a couple of deaths for Hannah Yeoman on the GRO, but can't find one for a George Yeoman.

Thanks again
