 :)hi this is the only photo of my father in his early twentys  he is now 89  can anydody please help to make it better as i am 50 yrs old and i am not computer literate  i can only perform basics the whole family would e eternally gratefull thanks, cathlene.

For what it's worth I think it's a shoulder strap for a bag/rucksack and not a parcel under his arm.

yes i agree,the pic you have made so lovely for me is,infact my uncle,my sister used my rootschat site,to ask if anyone could fix the pic of our dad,as its the only one we have got,but she couldnt upload it,and forgot all about it.so if i can upload a pic of our dad,could you and would you try and do something with it please,i was thrilled when i saw the pic of my uncle its fantastic.
