It might help if you offered names/ranks/reg numbers of those you are looking for?
This might help.

Hi Migky,
I am after parents for John Joseph CURRAN & Mary Josephine MORAN
Hoping maybe theres is a headstone on their grave which they are listed.
Just a tad hard to go look myself from Aus...
I realise I dont have very much information to go on just wondered if I could get lucky but I have a horrible feeling James and Mary were both born in Dublin IRL.
Cheers

Would be a little hard to check from Oz  ;D

But to locate the stone we would need an actual date of death, if anyone was to walk into the office with just a year, they would say sorry, it would take up to much time looking. Or the other trick they would say of course but me have a charge of £XX

The best place the find their parents would be a marriage cert, have you looked for it?

Try emailling them explaining you are in Oz but plan to visit next year, or something like that.
