Has anyone come across Henry Luigi Boswell ?
All I have is the information from Dr John Turner's book 'Victorian Arena - the Performers' and can find no other information on Henry Luigi Boswell or his family ........
BOSWELL, Henry Luigi
Equestrian juggler. Son of James C Boswell (circus proprietor), and Rebecca Cooke (the daughter of Thomas Taplin Cooke). Brother of James Clements Boswell, jr. First noted as "Master H. Boswell", at Hengler's, Bath, in 1865. With the same company, at provincial venues, in 1866-7, and as "Henry Boswell" in 1888-9 and in 1891. He was with Thomas Batty's London Circus in 1875 at Burton on Trent, in a juggling act on a bare backed horse, and with the same company in 1876.
Proprietor, in opposition to his brother and Alfred Whitmee, in Oxford in 1893, in a tent. He ran a circus in Oxford, in his brother's building1894/5/6/7.
His wife was "Edith ??"a circus artiste.
He was father of Ernest Boswell.

I'd appreciate any info on Henry Luigi Boswell - we can't figure out where the "Luigi" comes from ;-)
