Am I being hopeful?

This is a scan of an old snap-shot which was so faded as to be almost invisible. I managed to get it to this state but wonder if someone very clever could make it viewable please. I think it is my mother, who was born in 1889, leaning against her mother centre front which would make it about 1891. I found the photo amongst my mother's hidden treasures after she died. If it is not possible thanks anyway.You have all been so kind and helped me so much.Thanks.

Hi Mem...did you scan it in colour mode? The additional tones, even in a b&w photo, will give the restorers a bit more to work with...
