Closest I can find in 1861 has a different fathers name, Robert not John.
However other names, dates and area are close.

In 1851 there are no results for Dorothy Pescod which suggests to me that your christening date for her and Mary is incorrect.  Adds a wee bit more evidence to the fact that the 1861 census result I've given may be them.  :-\

Can't find a Mary living with John in 51 or 61.

Sorry.

The birth of a Dorothy Pescod was registered in Sunderland in March ¼ 1846, and a Mary Pescod in June ¼ 1847.

The index at Durham Records Online shows baptisms in the Parish of Lanchester in 1850 for Dorothy Pescod and Mary Jane Pescod, both of Berry Edge.
This is corroborated by the IGI, which gives the baptisms at the Chapelry of Medomsley on 17th March 1850, parents John & Mary Pescod.

Might also be Dorothy Pescott born Durham Northern 1847 and Mary Jane Pescod born Durham Northern 1850, which would tie up with the Lanchester Baptisms ?

Durham Records Online 1851 census index gives a Dorothy Pescot born Conside 1848 living in Sunderland. There is also a Mary Jane Pescot born Conside living in Sunderland.

Gwen, I do believe you were given a promising looking 1861 census entry here, and also a possible death registration for John Pescod in 1855.

You were also given the 1851 census here
http://www.rootschat.com/links/056s/

So it seems you were given both the 1851 and 1861 census entries you have requested here over two years ago.
