Just catching up on this post as its been quite a while since i looked at it - Its funny to see you all talking about Evans living in Powerscourt as I actually grew up there. In my research I have found come across the Evans living there (Anne Evans) but I have not been able to relate to my tree.

Hi Mark,

Wow, what a place to grow up!  I'm planning a quick visit to Powerscourt after Christmas, to see where my great great grandfather was gameskeeper.  When did you live there?

All the best,

We move there when I was 4 back in the early 70's but I've working and travelling abroad since I finished college in the early 90's. My Parents retired to Kerry about 6 years ago but a couple of my brothers still live locally. Is changed a lots in the last 20 years but it was the best place to grow up.
