Shanahan and Enright marriage 1860's

Anyone out there got the following in there family.

Patrick Shanahan and Catherine Enright
From the 1901 Dublin census, Patrick's age tells me he was born in 1833.
I am unsure if they married before coming to Dublin.
There first child i have is Peter born in 1863 Dublin.

Civil registration of Catholic marriages began in 1864 (from 1845 for other marriages) so it will depend on when they married as to whether or not there will be a marriage certificate for them. Otherwise, you'll need to search for church records (if they exist) but it will be difficult unless you know where to look.
