Stowell - can't find them anywhere!!
« on: Sunday 21 December 08 14:14 GMT (UK) »
Charles Stowell married Charlotte Rose Lindley 1922 in Wandsworth Reg. He was the youngest of five and worked on the railways after WWI. The oldest was Reuben Stowell, who married Rose L Randall 1921  in Steyning Reg. Their mother died when they were young, and thee of them went to a home, possible Barnados. Charles was supposed to have been born in Sussex, possibly Brighton, Hove, Worthing area?

Can't find any trace of Reuben in the 1901, although as the oldest I would have thought I could find him.

I've looked and looked, but can't find them. Is there some census missing on Ancestry, or are they hiding under some mistranscription.

Any help appreciated, please. I'm tearing my hair out.

Linda
