Just to point out that the URL takes you to the Official 1911 Census  Website, and not the Beta Test site.

Rootschat has been contacted by FindMyPast.

The link to the 1911 Census Beta Site that is presently circulating on various message boards and forums has been published in breach of of the website's terms and conditions.

Please do not use this link and do not pass it on.

Administration

The link I published on various mailing lists and forums was not in breach of any terms and conditions.

To breach terms and conditions under English law one has to be made aware of them before use.
I carried out normal legal research using ordinary resources found on the internet, any researcher could have done the same.
There were and even now still are no terms and conditions on that page.
Any complaint you have received is due to the poor programming of the site and nothing else.

Perhaps they are upset that I informed the genealogical community the website would be online on the 13th. ;)
Cheers
Guy
