I've just been on the site this morning and so it definitely has been extended as it's now the 23rd, and there are more counties:

beds, berks, bucks, cambridge, cornwall, devon, dorset, gloucester, hants, hereford, herts, huntingdon, london, middlesex, norfolk, oxford, rutland, shropshire, staffs, suffolk, surrey, sussex, warwickshire, wiltshire and worcestershire.

Hi Kerry

People here are pleased/excited by what they have discovered and have been willing to use credits for what is a test run. There have been no concessions whatsoever, as far as I can see.

Yes they need to cover their costs, but not on a test run.(Maybe half price  :-\). It smacks of trying to get in some return as quickly as possible. We are the guinea pigs and we have to pay for the privilege. It's not professional.

Me thinks I might have a bit to say to them - Maybe Christmas afternoon  ;D ;D ;D

Gadget
However I do agree with you Gadget, it seems a little pricey considering we are testing out the system for them.  Should really be cheaper than 40 credits per image.

I'm starting to think that we should be awarded credits to test it. And we are asked to complete a questionnnaire at the end.  They sometimes offer rewards in some surveys  :D

They do Gadget, I belong to a website where I get awarded points for questionnaires and taste tests and all sorts.

As its Christmas they could have been a lot more generous and lot less bah humbuggy :(

I can finally take a real interest in this now, as have been able to find some people connected to my tree with the latest batch of counties.

If Santa can sort it so that Durham, North Yorks or West Yorks (I'm not too fussy, would just love it to see some direct relatives!) are available in the morning it would be much appreciated :).

Hi

I cannot remember ever having seen a beta site test that was not free or brought some significant reward to the testers.  Although it is great for us to get this taster they too are getting valuable experience of how their database works and what their customers need.  They really ought to consider giving us some credits or a heavy discount on our purchased credits.

Merry Christmas

That will make a good Christmas story Kerry!  Hearing stories like that only makes me more impatient though ;)

Where are the Northern Counties? Atleast if Lancashire were up I could feel I was unlucky rather than being discriminated against (I am sure there is a perfectly logical reason for the way they are coming up but doesn't stop me feeling miffed!).
