Fullalove family
« on: Wednesday 17 December 08 15:13 GMT (UK) »
I know an ancestor of mine was Mary Fullalove, d about 1786, apart from the fact that her mother was Elizabeth I know nothing about her family. She married Stephen Wilson (1723-55) who was a silk ribbon manufacturer in Coventry, and later London. So I am guessing she might have come from the Coventry area. Does anyone have knowledge of ANY Fullaloves in the area at that time?

In particular SHARON I wondered if you could check the Apprentice enrolments 1781-1882 Coventry, as they might have been in manufacturing.
many thanks
Ann

Hello Ann,

There are over 100 Fullalove and its variations on the IGI for Warwickshire, a few of which are in Coventry.

regards Leofric

I have a stack of information about the Coventry Fullaloves. I can trace them back to c1525 and forward to 2013. Be in touch if you wan to share, Roger Fullilove
