who was living at this address?

hi there, i need help to find out who was living at a certain address.

i'm trying to find out if the person living at this address is my great grandfather.

T. Dawson. 36 Stott Street, Hulme, manchester.from 1918.

trying to find out if it's Thomas Dawson who was married to Emma warburton(formerly Davies)
they had 3 or 4 daughters, but don't know if any of them were living with them at the time.

any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi

It's always difficult finding people after 1901.  Your best bet would be to contact Salford Library (you can Google them to find the e-mail address or phone number).  They should have directories for the years you are interested in.  I'm sure if you ask them nicely they would be willing to look up the details in a couple of directories for you.

Hi Westmoreland

Hulme is not in the area of Salford although they may have copies of directories. If that fails
try contacting Manchester local history section have a year already in mind though as they will
probably not trawl through every year.
