       If anyone has access to the Gores directories pre 1825 I am looking for Bezaleel Woosey (Plasterer) living in Kitchen St by 1825.

In the 1825 on-line directory for liverpool Your Bezalee woosey is spelled Bezaliel 36 Kitchen street
and  John Woosey a cowkeeper.There are only 2 woosey so might be connected.I can go a bit further back than 1825.

Hi Celia

      Thanks, I have him in the 1825 Directory & 1827 Directory he was living at 14 School Lane.

      He married in Liverpool 1796 & all his children were born in Liverpool, the last 1822. So I'm looking for him in any directories prior to 1825.

the gores were only printed every other year,he wasn't in the 1823/21/or 19. Now I know you will say,but he was living in liverpool The reason he may not be in the directories is because he was Lodging or staying with family, it doesn't mean he wasn't living in Liverpool.Therefore he was not the occupier of his residence so wont appear in the directories till he had his own address in his name.That has always been my personel opinion  and i can think of no other one:)
