passing through site

Hi all,
those of you who have used passingthrough.wetpaint.com might want to know that the website is closing down - I am waiting for wetpaint to delete the site, but I am not sure when exactly it will occur.

I would like to make it clear, that contrary to what some people have said, this is not because I have been "got at" or that there has been a vendetta against the site, it is because of a few people who are continually complaining and being horrible about others. I have put up with it for several months, but find I am so irritated by it now, that I no longer want to maintain the site.

I wish all the people who have used it good luck with their research.

to jacky,what a great shame.there are to few sites devoted to romany ancestry research as it is,and too few people dedicated to helping people  trace this notoriously elusive race of people.thanks for all youve done.nel.

l am saddened that you are closing down your web site, l found a few of my rellies the "Gentle" family there. You gave me an insight into my ancestors and their lives for which l am thankful. 
l agree with nelwild to few sites devoted to Romany Ancestry research.

I too am really saddened by the fact that due to a few nasty people you have felt the need to close the site down. I've found out so much about my tree from your invaluable records, I just want to say thank you thank you so much for providing such a brilliant site and how much I will miss it.
