I am new to the forum, and have posted 2 replies.  Each reply has "Report to Moderator", but followed by a number instead of "Logged".  What am I doing wrong?

You're not doing anything wrong. The Report to Moderator is there to tell us about any problems (although you can't report your own posts) and if you click on the number you'll see the following message:
Your IP address is shown only to you and moderators. Remember that this information is not identifying, and that most IPs change periodically.
You cannot see other members' IP addresses, and they cannot see yours.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Sorry to be thick but I cant find out how to find the "post " heading, only "reply" which is why I'm asking here.  I've logged on a couple of times and cant seem to find where to ask my question.

If you go to the board you are interested in you should see a button 'new topic'- is this what you are looking for?
