Lost Petrie Family

Looking for information on the following Petrie family from Liverpool and Manchester including descendants. Only contact we currently have in England is the daughter of Robert (age 2) below and she knows nothing of the rest of the family. James Petrie (age 49) below was a ship's captain and Liverpool harbor master. I am of the grandson of James (age 11) below.

Thank you  for the welcome and the rapid response. I was hoping to find descendants of the people listed in the census via this chat site. Any birth, marriage of death records that may help me track down the children and grandchildren of my grandfather James Petrie's (b. 6 Sep 1879  Liverpool) brothers and sisters would be greatly appreciated.

Sarah's last name was Ray. In the 1851 British Census: 12 Eldon Street, Liverpool there is a William Ray who has two daughters, Bridget (age 6) and and Ellen (age 3). William Ray was a dock laborer and foreman as was James Petrie. Williiam and his wife Ellen were living at 17 Dundee Street,  Liverpool, Lancashire, England at the 1881 British Census - same address as James Petrie and family. Sarah Ray was the name used on Jame Petrie's wedding certificate.

So it would appear that Sarah and Bridget are the same person. Ages very slightly for both James and Sarah/Bridget on various census takings but they seem to  be consistently three years apart and Sarah/Bridget both seen to be born about 1845-49.
