Yes checked this out previously also been in most of those graveyards and others in the Gillistown/Taylorstown area.
John Charters Rainey has been my man of mystery,I think I have his marriage date to Eliza Quinn in Duneane RC Church 27/04/1845,he is listed as John Charles not Charters.I have his death cert 1888 aged 50 years obviously wrong an older relative told me he was approx 60 years old when he died, this would tie in with children's births and the marriage

I'm not sure if this information will help you in your quest but here goes. Have a look at http://www.thebraid.com/genealogy.aspx website. It is the website of Ballymena Council and covers graveyards around Grange and Templemoyle Ballyscullion. Unfortunately it does not cover Duneane or Moneyglass which would be Antrim district Council. I don't they have a similar website. Incidently, you mentioned a Hugh Rainey, that is probably my grandfather. I live fairly near Grange and might be able to give some help.

Hi Lismurn,
Thank you for the response, apologies for the delay in my replying I have been on holiday.I had a look at thebraid site cannot find any connections there.Re your comments concerning Hugh Rainey I am sure that we are talking about different people. The Hugh and Sarah I mentioned in my earlier post are not my relations. The 1901 census has Hugh and I have his death cert 1903 registered by his sister Eliza Jane Rainey.Sarah does not appear in the 1901 cage census so I guess she either married or died prior to 1901,no luck so far in tracing her.
Keep in touch and best wishes.
