Hello Irene,
I have found a reference to a Jentie Taylor baptized on 10/5/1896 in St Saviour, Croydon Surrey. Daughter of Alfred and Florence. Other children of theirs were: Isabella b1901, Alfred b1903 and Jemima b1905. - I dont think this is the correct Gentila though!?

Gentila Cooper bt15/11/1874 is the d/o Samuel Cooper and Patience Smith.
Another Gentila Cooper was b1903 in Clapham d/o Samuel and Ann.
Another Gentila Cooper was bt 4/7/1852 West Moslesy, d/o William and Hannah.
This is all the Gentilas I can find!
Cath
there are definately a lot of smiths and taylors in this lot!!!dont forget emma and athelia were sisters.

and i wonder if anthony marrying eliza blackwell is where folks used to get mixed up eith sarah blackwell?this is all good stuff coming together in one place for the taylor researchers to seek out the connections.there has to be many me thinks!!!!

in the 1881 where we have Reuben and Abigail (Horn) BIRD living in tents in Mitcham Suirrey we have reuben's son Henry b Worth on the next page ...as has been said before ...BUT travelling with them is a SAMUEL SMITH, 40 b Acton Middlesex hawker  and his wife Priscilla and kids...do you think this is your sam Smith = Athelia Cooper?

so looking at that i think one of sam smith daughters (whether from athelia or priscilla i dont know)married a bird who we have yet to find.my bet is isabel married the bird?

caroline rings the bell janan.in reply to your post.just going put something up now.
